whereas at a view with court here held 3PhM1 Wm Inman late customary tenant of this same manor was admitted to one gatehouse and to a cartway pertaining to the same from the stone cross to have to himself and his heirs forever from the lord by the rod etc as by a roll of the same court here in court brought and shown fully binding and certain now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid Wm Inman died seised of the said gatehouse and cartway pertaining and that Wm Inman is his son and next heir of the aforesaid Wm and should have right to the said premises who the same said Wm Inman came here into court and humbly sought from the lord admittance to the said premises to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward granted to him seisin thereof to have to himself and his heirs from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
