fine two#it is shown by the homage that Jn Catt son of Edw who held for himself and his heirs in remainder after the death of Margt Catt widow late wife of the aforesaid Edw Catt one cottage called Carters died and that Jn Catt son of the aforesaid Jn is his son and next heir thereof according to the custom of the said manor and is of full age upon which now also to this court came the aforesaid Jn Catt in person and sought admittance to the said cottage and remainder thereof with appurtenances after the death of the aforesaid Margt to whom the same said Jn the lord by his said steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have for himself and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents customs and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he made fine and fealty and was admitted etc and afterwards the aforesaid Jn Catt being thus seised thereof in the same full and open court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward the said cottage called Carter and the remainder thereof to the use and behoof of Dan Lee and Eliz his wife and the heirs and assigns of Dan himself forever to whom the same said Dan present here in court and to Eliz by Jn Clarke her deputy the lord by his said steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have to himself to the aforesaid Dan and to Eliz and the heirs and assigns of Dan himself forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents customs and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and the said Dan and Eliz gave to the lord their fine as is shown etc and the said Dan made fealty to the lord but the fealty of Eliz herself was respited etc and thus they were admitted thereof tenants in the said form etc
