and similarly at this court Jn Bridge in compensation for the said surrender of the said small parcel of land for the making of the said ditch made to him by the said Jn Pilgrim surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward one corner of land parcel of Parkefield containing about 3p of land as now divided by the ditch to the use and behoof of the said Jn Pilgrim and his heirs to whom the same said Jn Pilgrim the lord by his said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have to himself and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents customs and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he made fealty and was admitted etc but his fine by the grace of the lord was pardoned
