and furthermore it is presented that Thos Wade who held to himself and his heirs from the lord of the said manor freely by charter fealty suit of court and the rent of pence per annum certain lands called Cowlands alienated the premises to Robt Carter and his heirs but because the said Robt Carter did not come to acknowledge his tenure and to make fealty to the lord for the premises therefore there is a precept to the bailiff of the said manor to summon the said Robt Carter to attend here in and at the next court to make etc
