and furthermore whereas at a court here held 12.10.1637 Geo Bentall and Ann his wife surrendered all that their part to one customary tenement and 10a of land with appurtenances called Pakes Gate lying next to Colne Park which the foresaid Geo and Ann held to themselves and the heirs of the said Ann in the right of Ann herself in reversion or remainder upon the death of Eliz Wiseman wife of Jos Wiseman to the use of Jn Jacob knight his heirs and assigns forever as is shown by the said court roll that same Ann at the time of the said surrender was under the age of twenty one years now to this court came the said Geo and Ann Ann herself solely and secretly examined by the said steward as is the custom and now being 21yrs and more and for the better assurance of the said premises in full and open court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his said steward their said part to the reversion or remainder of the said tenement and the 10a of land with appurtenances and all right estate and interest or any of them in and of the premises to the use and behoof of the said Jn Jacob his heirs and assigns forever
