whereas at a court here held 30.5.1637 Dionisia Hawksby wife of Jn Hawksby clerk was admitted tenant of the lord for her life to one messuage or customary cottage with appurtenances called Humfreyes the remainder thereof to Margt Lancaster daughter of the said Dionisia and the heirs of the body of the said Margt legitimately procreated the remainder thereof to the rightful heirs of the said Dionisia forever as is shown by the court roll now to this court came the said Margt now wife of Jn Ludgater clerk and humbly sought admittance to the said remainder which will occur through the death of the said Dionisia to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said remainder of the messuage or cottage with appurtenances to the said Margt and the heirs of her body legitimately procreated which will occur through the death of the said Dionisia from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine and was admitted tenant to the remainder etc
