and furthermore whereas at a court here held 30.5.1637 Fradadillo Pullen was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one small cottage with a way from the street and to one yard parcel of a tenement called Francis according as it is shown by the said court roll now at this court it is shown by the homage that the said Fradadillo Pullen after the last court viz 14.9.1646 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Hen Morley instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Robt Carter and Wm Adams two customary tenants of the said manor testifying the aforesaid cottage and other premises with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Giles Crow and his heirs upon condition that the said Giles Crowe his heirs and assigns allow the said Fradadillo Pullen to have to hold and to enjoy the premises during his lifetime of the aforesaid Fradadillo during the said time looks after and maintains the said cottage in good and sufficient repair upon which came here into court the said Giles and humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said cottage and other premises with appurtenances to the said Giles and his heirs upon the said condition from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine
