and afterwards in the same court and the court sitting came the aforesaid Hen Dowe and Eliz his wife in person and Eliz herself solely and secretly examined by the steward of the court as is the custom and agreed to surrender into the hands of the lord by the hands of the said steward the said parcel of messuage and yard with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the said Hen Dowe for his lifetime and after his decease to the use and behoof of the said Eliz and her heirs but the admission of the said Hen at his own request was respited during the lifetime of the said Eliz
