at this court it was presented by the homage that Hen Mereton gentleman who held to him and his heirs freely by fealty suit of the court and the rent of 17s certain lands called Readings Cottcroft Brokehouse Field and Leppingwells Meadow lying in Gestingthorpe hath aliened the same to Wm Heckford and his heirs and thereupon the bailiff is commanded to summon the said Wm to be at the next court to make fealty etc
