at this court it was shown by the homage that after the last court viz 26.5.1665 Geo Hunwicke customary tenant of the said manor surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Amye senior instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Wm Adams and Barth Clarke two customary tenants of the said manor all that customary cottage in which the said Geo was then living and the garden with appurtenances pertaining to the said cottage late parcel of Pannells to the use and behoof of Eliz Hunwicke then his wife and the heirs and assigns of the said Eliz forever but because the said Eliz did not come to take the premises from the hands of the lord although proclamation was three times made according to the custom of the manor that she should come the court sitting therefore precept was made to the bailiff of the said manor to seize the said premises into the hands of the lord until etc
