the third proclamation was three times made according to the custom of the manor that Phil Mole and Grace his wife should come to take from the hands of the lord all that part of one messuage called Garlands with appurtenances lately surrendered to their use by Walt Pease but they did not come and neither of them came therefore according to the custom of the said manor the said part with appurtenances was forfeited to the lord of the manor and there was a precept to the bailiff of the said manor to appoint the lord as tenant thereof
