at this court came Wm Harlakenden esq and in full court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the steward a customary messuage with appurtenances called Littmans with a pump in a yard of the aforesaid messuage except a small piece of land containing 2p lying next to the messuage which the said Wm now lives in reserved to the said Wm and his heirs with full liberty and authority for Humph Ruggles his heirs and assigns to use the same from time to time on condition that they keep the pump in repair etc to which the said Wm at a court here held 30.12.1651 was admitted to the use of the aforesaid Humph Ruggles his heirs and assigns forever which said Humph present here in court humbly petitioned admittance etc to whom the steward delivered seisin to have and to hold the messuage aforesaid with other the premises except before excepted to the said Humph his heirs and assigns forever of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
