was admitted to him and his heirs to one messuage with a yard and garden and yard

pertaining to the said messuage and two parcels of land and one grove called
Bettsland
now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said
Wm Davy
surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Geo Toller
gentleman instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Robt Finch
and
Jn Finch
two customary tenants etc the messuage and parcel of land and grove aforesaid containing by estimation 7a more or less and all other customary messuages or tenement etc which the said

late had by the sale of
Edw Browne
to the sole use of
Robt Newton
of Earls Colne yeoman his heirs and assigns forever who present in court humbly petitioned admittance etc to whom the steward delivered seisin etc to have and to hold the said messuage and all and singular the premises etc to the said
Robt Newton
his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and he gave the lord for fine etc
