Masons | at this court the lord of the manor for the continuation of the rents of the manor aforesaid by the steward delivered seisin to Ann Bond wife of Jn Bond of a certain cottage or tenement with a small yard belonging late in the occupation of Nath Wade and now in the tenure of the aforesaid Jn Bond or his assigns lying in Earls Colne against the churchyard to have and to hold the cottage and yard aforesaid with appurtenances to the aforesaid Ann Bond her heirs and assigns of the lord according to the custom of the manor aforesaid by the annual rent before paid and suit at court and the payment of a reasonable fine after death or alienation of the premises upon the condition that the aforesaid Jn Bond and Ann his wife and the heirs of the said Ann put up a fence around the yard within three months next and keep the same fence in good repair and for this grant she gave the lord for fine etc |
