at a court held 11.12.1677 Jn Cressener gentleman admitted to all three parts of a certain meadow or parcel of land divided in all into four parts called Pakes Gate Mead also Ringers and appurtenances lying next to Colne Park containing altogether about 10a and also admitted to the fourth part at a court held 29.10.1678 shown by the homage that Jn Cressener surrendered by the steward the three parts of the meadow called Pakes Gate Mead on 15.7.1678 and that the fourth part one part of which was lately surrendered by Dan Nightingale and wife Dorothy and the other half of the fourth part was lately surrendered by Jeremy Goodall and wife Alice to the use of Geo Cressener gentleman late father of Jn and Jn surrendered all estates rights titles and interests of and in the entire meadow or parcel of land or of and in any part or parcel of the same to Sibil Cressener his sister and the heirs of Sibil until the pledged marriage between Thos Savill gentleman and Sibil is solemnised and after the solemnisation then to Sibil Cressener and assigns for life and after her death to Thos Savill and his heirs and assigns forever and at the same court shown by the homage that Thos Bowes esq customary tenant surrendered by the steward on 1.7.1678 at the request and with the assent of the said Jn Cressener one parcel of meadow about 2r late parcel of the three parts of the said meadow called Pakes Gate Mead also Ringers lying next to Colne Park to the said Sibil Cressener and her heirs until the solemnisation of the said marriage and after the solemnisation then to Sibil for life and after her death to the said Thos Savil his heirs and assigns forever now at this court shown by the homage that the said pledged marriage between the said Thos Savill and Sibil has been celebrated and Thos and Sibil his wife humbly seek admittance they give their fine etc and are admitted
