at court held 27.6.1676 Mary Brages was admitted for life to a croft of land or pasture parcel of Bearecroft and an orchard lying behind the mansion house late Wm Harlakenden esq's remainder of it to Mary Andrews for life and after her death to use of person or persons and by such regulations as the said Mary Brage together with her husband by writing under her hand and seal limited and for lack of such limitations to use of the said Mary Brage her heirs and assigns forever and by writing said Mary Brage under her sign and seal dated 4.12.last limited the premises after the death of the said Mary Brage and Mary Andrews to the use of the said Jn Parish his heirs and assigns forever
