at a court held 27.4.1691 Jn Meriton junior was admitted to him and his heirs in coparcenary with Ann Nutman to one messuage with barn and 10a land more or less parcel of Lowfeilds by hedge and ditch divided and to 6a land more or less from parcel of said Lowfields now at this court etc said Jn Meriton that present day 13.3. surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Sam Middleton junior in place of the bailiff in presence of Geo Toller and Rich Sillitoe two customary tenants etc said premises with apurtenances to use of Edw Johnson of Earls Colne brewer his heirs and assigns forever who present here in court etc admitted etc the premises fealty respited
