to this court it appeared to homage that Sam Finch a customary tenant of this manor 10.6.last surrendered by rod into lords hand by hand of Thos James instead of the bailiff in presence of Geo (sic) and Dan Nightingell two customary tenants etc all his customary lands and tenements held of the manor to uses and intentions which are or will be declared in his last will in writing
