at a court here held 24.3.1696 Jn Sadd was admitted to himself and his heirs to one messuage and tenement called Pannells with appurtenances now it appears etc the aforesaid Jn Sadd 20.4. surrendered by the rod into the hands of the lord by the hands of Solomon Grimston gentleman in place of the bailiff in the presence of Humph Ruggles and Jn Ellis two customary tenants etc the aforesaid premises and appurtenances to the work and use of Hen Abbot of Earls Colne aforesaid and his heirs and assigns forever who present in court humbly petitions etc admitted premises etc gave the lord fine
