at a court held 1.4.1706 Rich Potter junior was admitted to him and heirs to all that customary messuage with garden and curtilage adjoining called Sonningwells and to all that tenement adjoining called Tabors with appurtenances situate in Earls Colne now to this court it appears etc that said Rich 18.2.last past surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Jn Payne in place of the bailiff in presence of Rich Potter senior and Wm Booseby two customary tenants said premises with appurtenances and all his right title estate and interest of and in the premises to sole use of said Rich and his heirs as by a marriage agreement between said Rich Potter junior and Eliz Daniell spinster to be solemnised and after the solemnisation to the use of said Rich for life and after his death to use of said Eliz for her life and after death of survivor to use of heirs of Eliz and Rich Potter legally procreated and for default of such heirs to use of heirs of Rich forever now to this court comes Rich and petitions etc admitted to premises etc to uses in surrender fine for admittance pardoned payment of 11li imposed for admittance of Eliz respited until death of Rich
