at a court held 9.3.1693 Thos Bullock was admitted to him and heirs to one cottage with appurtenances in Earls Colne late in occupation of Jn Bullock junior now at this court appears that said Thos this same day out of court surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Sam Burton in place of the bailiff in presence of Wm Chapman and Rich Potter two customary tenants said premises with appurtenances to use of Eliz Rogers spinster her heirs and assigns who present here in court humbly petitions etc admitted to the premises etc fealty respited
