at a court held 20.4.1702 Marge White was admitted to her and her heirs to one messuage or cottage with yard garden and appurtenances belonging and half a well and at court held 23.4.1705 said Marge surrendered premises to use of her last will now at this court appears that said Marge after last court died seised comes Jn White eldest son of Marge and produces here in court last will of Marge dated 28.6.1710 in following english words item I give and bequeath unto Jn White of Earls Colne my eldest son all that my copyhold messuage or tenement as the same now is in occupation of me the said Marge White and Jn Backley (Jn Brackley ) and holden of the manor of Earls Colne under divers limitations and conditions in said will expressed as by will plainly appears thereupon said Jn White present here in court humbly petitions etc admitted to premises with appurtenances etc under conditions and limitations in the said will expressed made fealty
