at a court held 1.4.1711 Rose Abbutt spinster was admitted to her and heirs to one tenement called Filbrids Lophams and Windmillhill and parcel of land to this belonging containing 2r and also to said croft of land called Walnuttree Croft with appurtenances and at last court etc appeared said Rose Abbutt before that court 3.12.last surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Mortlock Coldham in place of the bailiff in presence of Hen Adams senior and Hen Adams junior two customary tenants etc all her customary messuages lands tenements and hereditaments held of the manor to such uses as would be declared in her last will in writing and that after said Rose Abbutt died seised and that after at that court first proclamation was made now at this court comes Abigail Abbutt widow mother of Rose and produces in court last will of Rose dated 3.12.1712 in following english words viz item I give and bequeath unto my executors herein after named all that my portion of tithes yearly arising proceeding growing and coming out of and in the said parishes of Great Coggeshall and Little Coggeshall in the said county of Essex and all my copyhold messuages lands and tenements holden of the manors of Earls Colne and Colne Priory to be sold as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and lastly I do nominate and appoint my said dear and honoured mother executrix and mr Jn Owers of Wickhambrook in the said county of Suffolk executor of this my last will and testament as by will plainly appears and thereupon Abigail Abbutt present here in court and Jn Owers with said Abigail Abbutt in role of attorney or deputy humbly petition etc admitted etc to all and singular premises with appurtenances under securities in last will expressed to the true intention of the last will fealty respited
