and immediately after the jury sitting come Rich Stringer and Geo Brooke with said Rich Potter and Eliz his wife in their own persons in open court but said Eliz first by deputy steward solely and secretly examined and consenting as the custom is surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of deputy steward all and singular the said tenements with appurtenances in Earls Colne which Rich Stringer recovered of Geo Brooke and also relinquish and relax and give up all claims and their right title estate claim and demands whatsoever both in law and in equity etc to the use of said Rich Potter his heirs and assigns forever who present here in court humbly petitions etc admitted tenant to premises etc does not give his fine etc
