at this court it appears to homage that 18.12.1730 Ruth Elliston and Eliz Elliston customary tenants of manor surrendered into hand of lord by rod by hand of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward of manor etc all their two parts of five parts all in five parts equally divided 6a land parcel of a grove called Coggs Grove next lands called Colne Park and also two parts of five of one messuage or tenement with barn stables yards and gardens to it pertaining and 26a land and 3a1r of meadow with appurtenances called Curdes and three crofts land called Barman Field Rounsell and Pellsland containing by estimation 15a more or less and also two of five parts of a certain meadow called Heath Field alias Heath Croft Stonyland and Brookhouse Meadow containing by estimation 20a more or less parcel of Le Hayhouse with rights and appurtenances to use of Jos Abbutt of Coptford in Essex gentleman his heirs and assigns forever which Jos present here in court lords by head steward granted delivery of seisin by rod to have and hold etc and is admitted tenant etc
