also at this court it is found and presented by homage that on 2.12.last Thos Smith a customary tenant of manor did out of court surrender by rod into hands of lords by hands of Wm Carter gentleman in place of the bailiff in presence of Jn Harvey and Thos London two customary tenants of manor etc that copyhold messuage or tenement called Pannells with appurtenances in Earls Colne in occupation of Thos Smith or assigns and also all other the customary messuages lands tenements and hereditaments that Thos Smith held of the manor reversion and reversions remainder and remainders to use of Thos Fisher of White Colne gentleman his heirs and assigns forever redeemable nevertheless on the payment of 41li lawful money of Great Britain by Thos Smith his heirs executors administrators or assigns on 2.6.next the date thereof without any deduction or abatement whatever otherwise to remain in full force
