also at this court it is found and presented by homage that Wm Smith of Earls Colne woolcomber a customary tenant of manor did since last court to wit 10.10.last surrender by rod into hands of lord by hands and acceptance of Rich Wale gentleman steward etc all his customary field or croft formerly a hopground with appurtenances called Stulps in tenure of Hen Mays held of manor by copy of court roll to use of Eliz Wale of Earls Colne spinster her heirs and assigns forever redeemable on payment of 10li10s money of Great Britain on 11.10.1750 to Eliz Wale her executors administrators or assigns
