| fine 40d | to this court came Rose wife of Jn Mason junior daughter of Jn Joldayn son of Roger Joldayn and sought admittance for herself to one cottage situated in the market place of the aforesaid Colne which same said cottage was seised into the hands of the lady after the death of the aforesaid Jn Joldayn during the minority of the said Rose and now at this same court it was shown that the aforesaid Rose is the next heir of the said Jn Jolden and of full age therefore she is admitted thereof tenant to whom the lady granted seisin to hold to herself and her heirs at the will of the lady by the ancient payments and customs saving whatever right and she gave to the lady for a fine for right of entry as is shown in the margin and made fealty etc |
