Robt Dyn complaineth of Jn Soneld of a plea of trespass the bailiff his pledge to prosecute and thereupon the said Robt complaineth that the said Jn at a certain day and year with certain of his cattles viz kine bullocks and horses hath eaten up trodden down and spoilt his corn viz (in binding) whereby the said Robt is endaminaged and hath losses to the value of 10s and thereupon bringeth on his suit and the said Jn defendeth the injury and saith that he is not blameable thereof and thereupon putteth himself to the country and the other likewise therefore the bailiff was charged to make to come twelve etc to the next court etc which etc to acknowledge etc because as well the said Jn as the said Robt have put themselves upon their oath and the same day is given to the said parties
