Robt Donvale putteth himself in suit against Jn Langton in a plea of debt whereupon the said Robt complaineth that the said Jn unjustly withholdeth 14s which he oweth him for corn and grain of the said Robt bought which money the said Jn should have paid the said Robt as the pleasure of the said Robt and he hath not paid but yet still unjustly detaineth the same whereby the said Robt is endamaged and hath loss to the value of 10s and thereupon he entreth his suit and the said Jn denieth the wrong and saith that he oweth nothing to Robt as the said Robt imposeth and hereupon he pledgeth the law and hath day to bring his law by the twelve until the next court by the pledge of Thos Smyth
