Jn Masson and Rose his wife in a complaint of Thos Smyth concerning a plea of land pledged Jn Dovent# and Rich Turnor etc and made protest to pursue the aforesaid complaint in the nature of the assize of mort d'ancestor and therefore it is presented to the bailiff to summon the said Thos upon the aforesaid grounds against the next court and that he should produce here the name of the summons and this precept etc and also summon twelve lawful men
