fine 10d | at this court Robt Segge lying very sick out of court surrendered into the hands of Thos Turnor bailiff of this manor in the presence of Thos Kelet Jn Hyne and others witnessing and testifying one croft of land called Redyng containing 2a as it lies between the croft late of Robt Segge sometime Jn Turnor's of the one part and the croft of land of Jn Masonne's called Goulds of the other part the one head abuts on the land of Jn Massone called Goulds and the other on the land called Pettecrofts to the use of Wm Roberte vicar of the church of Earls Colne and Thos Segge chaplain to whom the lord now at this court hath granted seisin thereof to hold to the said Wm and Thos their heirs and assigns of the lord to the will of the lord by ancient services and customs and they gave fine and made fealty |
