mercy 16d | found by the inquisition that Jn Pake died since the last court and the day of his death he held of the lord one messuage with 10a of land meadow and pasture and an aldercarr with appurtenances in Colne which sometime was Jn Underwood's and is heriotable yet nothing falleth to the lord for heriot because he had no one quick thing and they say that Jn Hylley son of Alice late the daughter of Jn Pake Emmote and Kath sisters of the said Alice are coheirs of the said Jn Pake and of full age and the said Jn Hylley Emmote and Kath are present in the court and desire to be admitted to the said land and tenement with appurtenances to whom the lord granted seisin thereof to hold to them and their heirs and assigns of the lord to the will of the lord by the ancient services and customs and they gave the lord for fine etc and made fealty |
