| fine 4d | it is likewise found by the inquisition that Joan Hosyer died since the last court which the day of her death held of the lord one chamber with a soller builded thereupon sometime Robt Gentries lying between the messuage of Jn Maldon of the one part and the messuage of Wm Gentry of the other part one head abutting on the highway leading from Colne to Colchester and they say that the foresaid Wm Gentry is the brother and next heir of the said Joan and of full age and the said Wm is present in court and asked to be admitted to whom the lord granted seisin thereof to hold to him and his heirs etc and he giveth fine and made fealty |
