it is presented to seize into the hands of the lord all those lands and tenements with appurtenances which Andrew Adam held from the lord by the rod because the aforesaid Adam let out the aforesaid lands and tenements with appurtenances to divers men annually from year to year without licence of the lord and in defiance of the lord king and to return to the lord of any profits whatsoever etc
