fine 6d | to this court came Xian Sonyngwell and surrendered into the hands of the lord one small toft with a small curtilage called Tabores lying between a messuage of Rich Skynnere sometime of Jn Atte Chamber on one part and the great gate of Sonningwell on the other part one head abutting upon the king's highway to the use of Jn Turnor otherwise called Bonjon Thos Kelet and Robt Sebryt upon the form and condition previously made between the aforesaid Xian and Jn Thurgood on the one part and the aforesaid Jn Thos and Robt on the other part to whom the lord now at this court granted thereof seisin to hold to the same said Jn Thos and Robt their heirs and assigns from the lord at the will of the lord by ancient services and customs etc and upon the aforenamed conditions and if it should happen that the aforesaid Jn should fail in any part of the agreement or in the payment made separately between the same then truly it should be allowed to the aforesaid Xian and Jn Thurgood or their attorneys by licence of the lord to reenter into the aforesaid toft with appurtenances and to retain it notwithstanding this surrender and they gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty etc |
