fine 6s8d | to this court came Jn Nythtingale and Jn Turnor and surrendered into the hands of the lord a parcel of one messuage in so far as it was held from the lord which sometime was of Robt Stevene with appurtenances adjoining Colne Bridge to the use of Jn Waleys on the condition that he should pay or cause to be paid to the same said Jn Nyghtingale and Jn Turnor their attorneys or assigns at the feast of michaelmas.next 13s4d and at the feast of easter then next following 13s4d and thus at the agreed feasts next following until the sum of 20marks of good english money should be paid to the same and if it should happen that the aforesaid Jn Walys and his attorney should default in part or in whole of any of the said payments of money at any of the above named feasts that then it should truly be allowed to the same said Jn and Jn Turnor their heirs and assigns to reenter the aforesaid parcel of messuage with appurtenances and to retain them in their former estate and the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to hold to himself and his assigns according to the customs etc upon the abovenamed conditions saving the rights etc and he gave to the lord for a fine as shown etc and made fealty |
