and that Robt Yfeld of the aforesaid Colne and late servant of Rich Bruton parson of the church of Great Tey took one cart load of barley in the store of the said Rich and took carried and led it out of the aforesaid Tey with a cart and horse of the said Rich within that demesne of the lord earl and stored it in the house of Rich Prodeman and two rungefulles (sic) of hay of the said Rich he took carried and led away in the above mentioned manner to the house of Thos Manlegh and stored there etc and afterwards for three days after the taking thereof that the aforesaid Robt stole the aforesaid goods and chattels from the said Rich and received monies altogther 40li and upon this the aforesaid Robt was a fugitive outside the lord's demesne etc and upon this the constable made arrest of the aforesaid barley and hay to the use of the lord as the abandoned chattels of the said Robt etc whereof of the aforesaid barley acquired when threshed there was 1bush 3lb priced at 40d and the aforesaid hay acquired was to maintain the stags and deer in the lord's park by a precept of the lord whereof the bailiff was able to allow for their carriage to the lord's park 8d and for the aforesaid threshing of the corn and winnowing 4d for which whereof there was amercement etc
