| Markshale | whereas at a court here held on the wednesday in st christine 25.7.26Edw3 it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord 20a of free land of the lord's fee in a field called Crawislond in Markshale by reason of the minority of Jn son and heir of Arth of Markshale etc and it is presented to the bailiff to distrain the tenant of the aforesaid land against the next to show by what right he entered into the aforesaid fee and to make to the lord homage and fealty etc similarly it was presented to seize one cottage into the hands of the lord late of Rich Fulke which he held from the lord by the service of 10d per annum etc similarly the lord granted to Wm Penel and Xian his wife now of Rich Atte Park 1r of land of the lord's demesne in Sondhill to hold to the same and their heirs by the services of 6d per annum therefore it is presented to seize into the hands of the lord unt il etc and to return to the lord of the profits |
