Earls Colne inquisition Jn Wrygth# whereas at a court on monday next illegible text the feast of st gregory 15.3.7Edw3 Rich Lamberd son of Andrew Lamberd and Felicity his wife came and surrendered into the hands of the lord one croft of land called Catourescroft with appurtenances adjoining a messuage of Andrew Gosse and lands of Jn Gosse to the use of Jn Wompol otherwise known as Draper and Christine his wife and the heirs of the said Jn etc by the services and customs etc item an inquisition was taken which said that illegible text who held of the lord one messuage and one croft of land with appurtenances by the service of 8d and said that Jn Capell is son and next heir and of full age etc item Hen Fuller who held of the lord one bakehouse which contained 3rod in length and 3rod in breadth by the service of 3d per annum and they said that illegible text was son and next heir and was under age etc item inquisition(inserted) Alice Crudde came and surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage with appurtenances to the use of Robt Atte Nook who etc to hold to himself the same said by the custom etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord until etc and to return to the lord of the profits
