whereas at a court here held on the friday 26.11.35Edw3 Thos Terry held from the lord on the day that he died certain free lands by the service of 4d annual rent and upon this Ralph Terry came and claimed the aforesaid lands in the name of inheritance and was admitted thereof tenant and gave to the lord for a relief 4d etc therefore it was presented to distrain the said tenement and land against the next to show by what right there was entry into the lord's fee and to make to the lord fealty etc
