Jn Adam | whereas at a court here held on the friday next after the feast of all saints 8.11.10Edw3 Xian who was wife of Jocius the reeve bought of Peter Smyth and Jn Adam two crofts for 5d annual rent to return to the same said Peter and Jn to have as the fee of the aforesaid Jocius by deed and because the said Jocius was the lord's bondsman the land was seized into the hands of the lord and to that same court came the aforesaid Xian and surrendered the deed of the aforesaid lands and received the said lands from the lord by the rod to hold to the same for her entire lifetime for an increase of 1f and to make to the lord all other services and customs etc and after her decease to remain to the rightful heirs of the said Jocius etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord until etc and to return to the lord etc |
