inquisition Catourscroft Jn Wrygth Nook inquisition inquisition whereas at a court here held on the monday next after the feast of st gregory 15.3.7Edw3 Rich the bastard son of Andrew Lambard and Felicity his wife came and surrendered into the hands of the lord one croft of land called Catourscroft with its appurtenances next to a messuage of Andrew Gosse and land of Jn Gosse to the use of Jn Wympol otherwise called Draper and Christine his wife to whom etc to hold to the same the heirs and assigns of the said Jn etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord until etc and to return to the lord of the profits etc item an inquisition was taken which said that Peter Peck now Jn Wryghth (inserted) who held from the lord one messuage and one croft of land with appurtenances by the services of 8d who in extremis had no heriot and they say that Jn Capell is his son and next heir and of full age etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord etc and to return to the lord of the profits etc item Alice Crudde came and surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage with appurtenances in Colne to the use of Robt Nook which were granted etc to hold to himself etc therefore it was presented to seize etc and return etc item Hen Fuller who held from the lord one bakehouse which contained 3rod in length and 3rod in breadth by the service of 1d annual rent and now came Christine who was wife of Hen aforesaid and took from the lord during the minority of Thos son of the said Hen etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord and to return to the lord etc item Jn de Colne and Joan his wife came and surrendered into the hands of the lord one plot of land which contained in length 4rod 7ft in breadth 8rod to the use of Rich Roscheden to whom etc to hold to himself and his heirs etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord etc and to return etc
