waived goods | whereas it was presented at divers courts going before here holden by the chief pledges of the leet being sworn that one Jn Hyne had taken of Lucy Ruffell 16marks of money of waived chattels as by the same inquisition more plainly appears and afterwards the same Jn by process of the court had against him come in the full court and said that he received 5marks of the said 16marks which he received by the deliberation of the lord's council that time there being and to the use of the same lord safely to be kept and after the lord of his special favour delivered the said 5marks to Jn Loveword to the use of Simon Oldhall a leper that he might do his pleasure therewith whereupon the said Jn Hine hath made supplication that he may be discharged of the foresaid 5marks that hereafter he be no more accused thereof or of the sum aforesaid therefore it is considered by the steward that the said Jn be acquitted thereof |
