fine 12d condition Jn Roger present in court surrendered into the hands of the lord one tenement containing one cottage with garden called Brayes to the use of Simon Levyngton and Joan his wife and Wm Hauk and their heirs to whom seisin thereof was delivered by the rod to hold to themselves their heirs and assigns by the services and customs saving the rights etc and they gave for fine etc and seisin was delivered upon the following condition viz that the aforesaid Simon and Joan should pay or cause to be paid to the same said Jn Roger his executors or attorneys 13s4d at the feast of xmas and 20s at the feast of the nativity of st john baptist then next following and if it should happen that the aforesaid Simon and Joan should default in part or in whole at any of the aforementioned feasts of the aforesaid payments that then truly it should be allowed to the aforesaid Jn or his executors or attorneys to reenter into the aforesaid tenement and to retain in his former estate this present surrender and seisin notwithstanding etc
