fine 16d | to the same court came Wm Waller Jn Waller and Wm Parmanter and being present in the court surrendered to the lord's hands one cottage with a curtilage adjoining in Colne with appurtenances late Rich Asheford's that the lord therewith might do his will and the lord thereof so seised now at the same court of his special favour regranted the said cottage with curtilage to the said Wm Parmanter Thos Baker of Colne Thos Martin of Great Yeldham Wm Waller and Asselot his wife on the condition following that the said Wm Waller and Asselot shall dwell in the said cottage during the lives of them the said Wm and Asselot repairing and maintaining and acquitting the said cottage in all charges towards the church the lord the king and all others whomsoever during their lives so that after the death of the said Wm and Asselot the whole said cottage with curtilage and appurtenances may wholly remain to the said Wm Parmanter Thos Baker and Thos Martin their heirs and assigns forever to whom here is seisin thereof delivered to have and to hold etc and they give fine etc and made fealty |
