fine 2s to this court etc came Joan Stonewen by the steward solely examined and consenting Wm Bome Jn Tredegold painter Robt Leteman Rich Tyler Ralph Kebbill and Jn Rekedon present in court and surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage parcel of a messuage (torn) of Thos Morce with a garden adjoining and its appurtenances in the aforesaid Colne to the use of Jn Levyng Jn Tredegold glazier and (torn) to whom freely there is seisin thereof to have and to hold to the aforesaid Jn Jn and Wm their heirs and assigns by the rod at the will of the lord upon the following conditions if the aforesaid Jn Jn and Wm should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Joan or her rightful attorney 8marks (torn) of english money viz on this instant day 26s8d and at the feast of pentecost next following after the date of this court 26s8d (torn) to be paid at the same said feasts annually until the aforesaid sum should be fully paid and if their should be default of the aforesaid payment at any of the terms above mentioned left unpaid that then truly it should be allowed to the aforesaid Joan etc to reenter into the aforesaid cottage and its appurtenances and to possess them the aforesaid surrender and seisin above here delivered notwithstanding and upon this they gave for a fine etc and made fealty etc
