fine 20d | and to this same court came Jn Turnor late of Wethermondford and Joan his wife who was lately wife of Jn Kene herself by the lord's steward solely and secretly examined and Jn March glover and surrendered into the hands of the lord one tenement with appurtenances lying in the aforesaid Colne late of Gunner Turnor and afterwards of Jn Turnor for the lord to do as he would and immediately in this same instant court the lord out of his special grace regranted the said tenement with the appurtenances to the aforesaid Jn Turnor and Joan his wife to whom the lord by his steward granted thereof seisin to them to hold to them and their assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient services and customs and upon divers conditions as shown at a court here held on 7.2.1Edw4 the aforesaid Jn Kene and Joan were granted etc and they gave to the lord for a fine for having such estate thereof as shown etc and made fealty to the lord |
