fine 2s | at this court it is found that Jn Devenante and Hugh Woderove out of the court and since the last court surrendered into the hands of Robt Clerke one of the tenant's because the bailiff could not be present there in the presence of Jn Pyknot and Jn Kebbill tenants of the aforesaid manor one tenement as it lieth near the churchyard of Earls Colne on the south side and the west and a certain purpresture lying on the south side of the said tenement as the same is enclosed with a pale there set with another purpresture lying on the other side of the way viz over against the same tenement which were Thos Gernon's and with a certain stable situate near and beside the gate of the manor there over against the king's highway on the north side and also one messuage with a curtilage adjoining sometime of Alan Paine's to the use of Cecily late the wife of Roger Tewe Jn Havering and Alioner Reve and their heirs to whom there is seisin thereof delivered to have to them and their heirs and assigns by the rod to the will of the lord by the services therefore due and of right accustomed and they give the lord for fine 2s and made fealty and so are admitted tenants |
