and she being examined alone by the steward since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of
Robt Booner
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Walt Tedder
and
Jn James
the same witnessing one cottage parcel of the tenement sometime
Thos Morses
with a garden adjoining with appurtenances as they lie between
Wright Hall Garden
of the one part and the tenement belonging to the chief messuage called
Morses
of the other part to the use of
Thos Wentworth
to whom the lord grants seisin thereof to hold to him
Jn Ridnale
and
Jn James
their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord etc on form and condition following viz that if the said
Thos Wentworthe
pay or cause to be paid to the said
Thos Sewhale
or
Helen
the wife or one of them or the certain attorney or the heirs and executors of them 40s of money in manner following viz at the feast of pentecost then next following after the title of th is court 20s of money and at the feast of pentecost then next following 20s that then this present surrender shall remain and be in his full power and effect but if there be default made in any of the payments aforesaid in part or in whole at any of the feasts aforesaid that thenceforth it shall be lawful to the said
Thos Sewhale
and
Helen
the wife of
Jn Scidaie
the lord's licence being thereunto obtained into the said cottage with appurtenances to reenter and the same as in the former estate to have again and enjoy this surrender notwithstanding and they give fine etc and made fealty
